Excellent service from "Eddie". Advised that the equipment could be delivered to site for less than hiring a ute+trailer. Saved me time and money. The equipment even arrived at site literally as I was getting back! Amazing service and speed. Thank you.
The literal worst customer service; despite ordering online for a specific 4 hour window, the one customer service rep made me wait for 30 minutes while he did inventory because he couldn’t be bothered starting up a second computer. I’d booked online an upright moving trolley and honestly I’d rather drive another 30 minutes to pick up from Chatswood than have to go back and deal with these rude people.
Issued the invoice in the wrong name, despite taking all my details.
My staff member did not speak English, and could not communicate that he was unable to use the unit for one of the days, which would ordinarily result in no charge for the rain day. This branch insisted on charging for the rain day.
When asked to speak to a manager, the staff simply walked over to another floor staff member and chatted casually for a few minutes before returning again saying management could not help.
Kennards in general is quite good, however this particular branch is run by people who don't value customers or ongoing business. Coates Hire is much better when it comes to customer service.
